Over the last 2 decades, this scale-up has acquired a leading position within the karting and entertainment industry. Their product, an all-in-one software, helps leisure centers to optimize their full operational flow from registration, booking, scheduling, selling, self-service, managing, and reporting.
Financially healthy and present in more than 70 countries with over 300 clients and 15 nationalities in their team, our client is currently experiencing a 25% growth rate and therefore expanding the engineering team.
You write high quality code for the core product of the company,
You collaborate with the client, product owner, and other members of the team to expand the product’s functionalities (modules) and integrations.
Together with the rest of the team you make sure that the software is reliable, secure, scalable, and reusable across customers and prospects.
You take ownership of your tasks and have a clear impact on the end-product.
You work closely with the support and installations team in order to improve customer experience for second line support and intake and follow up of feature requirements.
You travel to different corners of the world to participate in sprints with your clients in person and get their feedback on how the product is being used, desired improvements. You are willing to travel 20% of your time..

You have a thorough knowledge of Asp.net and at least 3 years of experience in software engineering.
You are familiar with Firebird and/ or other databases.
You have developed API's for complex applications in the past.
You have a solid understanding of version control tools like Git.
You have a good knowledge of how web applications work including security, session management, and best practices.
You understand the importance of testing and have written tests in the past.
You have a professional level of English in both written and spoken communication.
You know how to gather requirements and design, develop, and deliver entire applications/ modules from scratch to end by yourself.

Experience in the leisure and entertainment industry

You live and work in the geographical range of Geel, Belgium or are willing to relocate to this area. Especially during the first 6 months you will be required to come to the office at least 3 days per week.
