Job description

We are currently looking for a CTO that can guide our company from a technology perspective for the next years. As a CTO you offer strategic technology advise, help with sales leads and stimulate innovation.

Our client is a project-based tech-company located in Antwerp that helps its client with their digital transformation. 



Soft skills

Hard skills

  • You have a thorough knowledge of modern software engineering technology
  • You have lead a team of 20+ engineers
  • Ideally, you have been developing code and know your way around in a couple of different codebases
  • You can define a technical short- and long-term vision for the company
  • You can organise the on-boarding of new team members
  • You help setting goals and objectives to ensure individual and company growth
  • You can review the technical architecture of our platform and make the right choices on technologies we should (not) use.
  • You follow up on DevOps and work on standardisation, policies and good practices while keeping the company culture in mind
  • You implement and maintain development processes
  • You make sure every process and decision gets documented by the team

Bonus points

  • You have experience with QA and product management
  • You have relevant experience in SaaS environments
  • You have something valuable to add when discussing UI and/or UX matters.
  • You have experience with programming, infrastructure or DevOps
  • Conference stages feel like home to you.
  • You have given talks, worked on open-source, or organized events/meetups.

Nothing personal, but...

  • For this job, you will be required to go to the office in Antwerp quite regularly and speak Dutch.
