We are looking for a full-time front-end engineer to join MobieTrain, an award-winning, micro-learning platform which helps clients like Decathlon, Vans, Timberland, Zara, and governmental organizations to boost business performance and employee engagement through gamification in an intuitive app. You will be working with the existing development team of 10+ engineers both from front-end and back-end.
As a mid-level or senior developer, you'll be expected to have technical oversight of the complete front-end stack of the project. This includes proposing changes, flagging issues, as well as maintaining and improving general quality standards of the whole front-end. This is a product that is continuously changing and improving. It is expected that this role advises and leads these changes.
What will you be doing?
You will report to the lead engineer and collaborate with a team of top-notch engineers.
You will work in the main application (PWA) and in the CMS (Content Management System) that allows our team and clients to implement learning contents.
Consult with creative teams on the feasibility to deliver their UI/UX designs.
Work on the authoring tool and the authentication service writing clean and readable code according to the latest standards.
Work on the integration via the IPAAS or directly with the API.
Help to set up the database with MySQL.
Handle occasional DevOps tasks.
Implement manual and automatic testing to ensure the high-quality of delivered features.

Experience in turning designs, wireframes, and mockups into robust User Interfaces
Ability to develop mobile first UI for mobile, iOS and Android.
Database modeling (MySQL)
Implementing and consuming REST APIs
Version control is something you cannot do without.
You understand the importance of continuous integration. You have a critical and pragmatic approach to guard over the quality of the code.
Successful experience delivering web applications that are cross-platform.
You feel comfortable taking over a legacy codebase.
You can communicate efficiently in English, both orally and written.
Experience with cloud providers such as Google Cloud Platform
Practices of DevOps and SCRUM
UI architecture and design (Figma, Sketch)
Experience in tacking UI security challenges
Experience working with gamification, e-learning, or gaming and / or animation development
Ability to provide technical expertise to mentor and guide other engineers
You live and work in the range of time zones GMT or CET +/-1h.
Our client already has people working in these time zones and would like to keep a reasonable overlap with the current team.
