Job description

To be very clear: this job posting is not for madewithlove, but with one of our clients whom we consciously chose to work with.

URBANTZ is a SaaS logistics management software with an optimisation solution for urban deliveries. It supports the complete logistics process of a company and enables real-time traceability throughout the process for management, dispatchers, and the final recipients. What will you be doing?

We are looking for skilled Software engineers to help tackle the wonderful challenge that lies in last-mile delivery orchestration & optimization. The product and engineering team is the heart of the company where client challenges are turned into solutions. • Help build a modern, highly complex, multi-service application that leads to the delivery of millions of packages per year to clients like yourself.

  • Together with the rest of your small team, you work closely with the product manager to define the how to the why and what of the product and the QA engineer to make sure what you deliver is solid.

  • AngularJS on the front-end

  • NodeJS on the backend.

  • End-to-end tests: Protractor

  • Database: MongoDB

  • The code is stored in GitLab, using its CI/CD capabilities to deploy easily to AWS and Azure.

  • Containerization & orchestration: Docker + Kubernetes

  • We work with short agile development cycles. At the end of the cycle, we team up to focus on technical challenges, get rid of some technical debt or explore new ideas.
