URBANTZ is a SaaS logistics management software with an optimisation solution for urban deliveries. It supports the complete logistics process of a company and enables real-time traceability throughout the process for management, dispatchers, and the final recipients. The consumers receive exact information about the status of their delivery and the real-time location of their parcel.
We are looking for a skilled Mobile engineer with a focus on iOS to help tackle the wonderful challenge that lies in last-mile delivery orchestration & optimization. The product and engineering team is the heart of the company where client challenges are turned into solutions. Product managers will try to understand these challenges as well as possible at which point you and your team will build the best possible solution together. In this team you will:
Help build a modern, highly complex, multi-service application that leads to the delivery of millions of packages per year to clients like yourself.
Work closely with the product manager to define the how to the why and what of the product.
Work with short agile development cycles. At the end of the cycle, the team focuses on technical challenges, gets rid of some technical debt or explores new ideas.
Main mobile technologies: Apps are natively built in Swift and Kotlin. On iOS they are using RxSwift for reactive programming.
NodeJS on the backend.
Unit-tests: Jest
End-to-end tests: Protractor
Database: MongoDB
The code is stored in GitLab, using its CI/CD capabilities to deploy easily to AWS, Azure, TestFlight, and Firebase.
Containerization & orchestration: Docker + Kubernetes
We work with short agile development cycles. At the end of the cycle, we team up to focus on technical challenges, get rid of some technical debt or explore new ideas.
